Taylor Armstrong On Weight: "I Went Too Far"

https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgpt3Zyv_B0e6gYqCbFjhn6EqtcjKXIigo1Wk7xeFlglgTpb9MrsQ3xSJFS2ZkVMKlJ5l7nIsvon1xF6tyMdVrJPRHWprLHWpdLQFI1qKv_wrhHJN0LecHigUC7UjYewmozWiGr7M2iTx0/s400/4.jpgShe has always been model-slim, but recently photos surfaced of Bravo’s Real Housewives of Beverly HillsTaylor Armstrong looking exceedingly thin, which sparked rumors that marriage trouble had led to an “eating disorder.”

It’s “absolutely not true,” Taylor shares exclusively with OK!. “My husband, Russell, and I are together and in love and happier than ever. But I do want to tell OK! exactly what did happened. I decided I needed to drop a few pounds, but I went to unhealthy extremes.”

How did it all start?
Russell brought home diet supplements two months ago because someone he knows wanted him to look at the company. We didn’t discuss the business end of it, but I started taking the supplements without him knowing. In the back of my mind I didn’t think they would even work, so I wasn’t worried — they were all natural and I thought you had to take prescription drugs to really ever lose weight.

Why did you think you needed them?
You know how it is as a woman; I was feeling my clothes were tight. I get everything tailored to fit me just right, so even if I gain just a few pounds my clothes don’t fit. I’d gained some weight because I was so busy with the show, being a wife and mother and running my start-up business (beautyticket.com). We went to charity events at night and I was eating unhealthy “event food” or drive-thru food, so I felt I needed to lose some weight. When I was taking the supplements, I had so much energy and wasn’t hungry — I thought it was great at first.

Has Russell ever made you feel self-conscious about your body?
Not at all. As a matter of fact, like most men, he likes me best when I am voluptuous. Recently we were looking at photos and he pointed out one and said I looked so lovely in it. I laughed as I told him: “I was five months pregnant there!”

When did you know you’d gone too far?
It was Russell who got me to admit the truth. He saw I wasn’t eating much and that I was too thin. I wasn’t weighing myself or taking my measurements, but when he said it I knew he was right.

Taylor Armstrong Going On 2nd Honeymoon

http://www3.pictures.zimbio.com/gi/Taylor+Armstrong+Russell+Armstrong+Esquire+jlSz_pVamzWl.jpgForget all the reports about Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills' Taylor Armstrong and her husband of seven years breaking up!

Taylor and Russell Armstrong are actually planning a second honeymoon, according to sources close to the show.

But viewers of the new season, on cable's Bravo, will see the couple working on their "fragile" marriage, according to a source said.

Taylor's experience as a victim of physical abuse was featured on last season, and Radar Online has exclusively learned that her husband Russell also "dealt with emotional abuse as a child."

"This has caused problems in the marriage," the Bravo insider said. "Russell wants to deal with these issues, to try and save his marriage."

The new season will also feature Taylor and Russell in marriage counseling with psychiatrist to the stars, Dr. Charles Sophy.

"Taylor recently went on a hike in Runyon Canyon, cameras in tow, and the purpose of the outing was for her to conquer some of her fears. The hike was extremely emotional and productive for her. Taylor is trying to save her marriage, and she is happy that Russell is putting in so much work. Russell didn't want to appear on camera during the therapy sessions, but he has relented and has agreed to do so. Russell hopes that viewers of the show in similar situations can learn from the problems he is experiencing in his marriage."

Taylor Armstrong & Hubby Secretly Separate

http://www.usmagazine.com/uploads/assets/articles/41038-real-housewives-taylor-armstrong-hubby-secretly-separate/1305064995_armstrong-290.jpgTaylor Armstrong has finally left her icy husband, Russell.

A source tells the new issue of Us Weekly (on stands now) that the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star has secretly separated from her banker husband of seven years.

"They've had huge marital problems related to finances," the insider says of the pair, who were seen together with daughter Kennedy, 5, at a May 7 Lollipop Theater Network event in Burbank, Calif.

The couple's marital problems are nothing new: Bravo viewers watched them bicker constantly during the show's first season, and Taylor even likened their marriage to a business arrangement.

Still, the recent split is taking a physical toll on Taylor. "She's emaciated -- down 10, 15 pounds," a source tells Us.

The Real Housewives drama doesn't end there. New cast member Brandi Glanville, 38 -- Eddie Cibrian's ex -- and Kyle Richards, 42, have been "going at it" since filming began on season 2. "They got into a fight and Brandi lunged at Kyle," a source says. "They had to be separated by producers."

Taylor Armstrong & Husband Are In Therapy

http://www.radaronline.com/sites/radaronline.com/files/imagecache/350width/wenn3203387.jpgReal Housewives of Beverly Hills beauty Taylor Armstrong and her husband, Russell Armstrong, showed signs of strain in their marriage on the Bravo hit show and now Radar Online has exclusively learned the couple is in therapy.

Audiences watched the first season of the show as the pair seemed to become more disconnected and a source close to the situation tells Radar Online that the couple is trying to work through their issues with the help of renowned psychiatrist, Dr. Charles Sophy.

"Dr. Sophy was introduced to Taylor by their mutual friend, Adrienne Maloof-Nassif. Adrienne is truly the anchor for the cast members, they all gravitate towards her for guidance. Adrienne wants Taylor to find peace, and Dr. Sophy is helping her do that.”

And while the couple takes steps to repair the breakdown in their marriage, we’re told several of the sessions with Dr. Sophy will be filmed for the upcoming season Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, although Russell is not quite as receptive to the cameras as Taylor.

“Dr. Sophy has seen Taylor and Russell together, and separately. Some of Taylor's sessions with Dr. Sophy will be filmed and featured on the second season. Russell hasn't decided yet if he wants to participate on camera. Dr. Sophy has provided the couple with a great deal of guidance, and they genuinely do seem to be working through their issues. Russell comes across on camera as being very aloof, and reclusive, that just isn't who he is. Russell wants to work to improve the marriage, it just isn't Taylor, which is a very, very good sign for the future of their marriage."

Dr. Sophy is a board certified psychiatrist - his patients include, Paris Hilton, Mel B and her husband Stephen Belafonte.

Taylor Armstrong Is 'Working' On Her Marriage

http://realitytea.realitytea.netdna-cdn.com/wp-content/new-uploads/2010/11/russell-taylor-armstrong.jpgThe first season of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills focused heavily on Camille Grammer's divorce drama. But another housewife, Taylor Armstrong, also struggled with her own marital issues throughout the season.

At the end of the first season of the hit franchise, fans were left wondering if the reality star and her husband Russell Armstrong were also headed towards divorce, but Taylor tells Radar Online exclusively they're "still together" and "working on things."

"I think that marriage is a work in progress and it's something that you really have to stay on top of so we're trying to do a better job of that," Taylor said.

So how are they making it work?

"I think for both of us we're so dedicated to our jobs and our businesses, and also being a mother is such a huge part of my life, that balancing those two things and still finding time for romance and taking care of the relationship from a romantic side and also from a friendship side we have to just be better at that," said the hard working mom, who has a daughter, Kennedy.

"So we're just trying to check in with one another more frequently and not always make it about business."

As for a return for season 2, which hasn't yet been announced by Bravo, Taylor says there's still more in store: "I do think there are stories that are left to be told and the relationships are changing, some of our friendships are deepening and we're getting to know each other better.

"Things are changing, our kids are getting older, our relationships are changing, our friendships, our marriages, our work lives, the changes that occur in life."
