By ANDREA MAGRATH

Casual day out: Emma Watson sports tracksuit bottoms and trainers for a day at the cinema with her friends

In a few months her face will once again be gracing cinema screens worldwide when the final instalment of Harry Potter is released in July.

But today Emma Watson, who was recently revealed to be worth over £32million, was happy to sit back and be entertained as she took in a film with her pals in Pittsburgh.

The dressed-down actress looked miles from the red carpet glamour she wears so well, keeping it casual in tracksuit bottoms and trainers.

The 21-year-old looked happy and relaxed, smiling as she chatted to friends after watching the comedy Bridesmaids.

Emma has also been keeping busy in between filming with trips to the gym.

She was spotted arriving for a workout over the weekend dressed in Lycra leggings and zip-up jumper, her short crop pushed back with a headband.

Her new role is departure for Emma, who became a household name playing bookish, intellectual Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter franchise.

She plays high school senior Sam in the film, adapted from the 1999 book by Stephen Chbosky.

Emma Watson shows why she was named world's best-dressed woman

By SARAH BULL

Spellbinding: Emma Watson looked stunning in a monochrome dress as she left the Ritz Hotel in Paris

She was named the world's best-dressed woman earlier this month, and it's not hard to see why.

Emma Watson showed exactly why she beat stars including Cheryl Cole and Kate Moss to the top of Glamour magazine's survey as she stepped out in Paris yesterday showing off her enviable figure in a frilly minidress.

The 21-year-old actress looked stunning in the monochrome dress, which she teamed with slicked back hair and a pair of sky-high heels while leaving the Ritz Hotel in Paris.

Fashionista: Emma showed off her enviable figure in the flirty outfit, which she teamed with on-trend slicked back hair

Emma has worked hard to transform herself from innocent young actress into a world-famous fashionista, but her status was secured earlier this year when she won a job with cosmetics house
Lancôme.

In a statement released by Lancôme, Emma said: 'Being a Lancôme ambassadress today is an immense pleasure and a great honour.

'For me, Lancôme is an authentic brand. It reflects elegance, class and style.'

Who's your friend? Emma shared a joke with one of the hotel staff as she headed out for the evening

In February, she was handed the Elle Style Icon award by Vivienne Westwood, who admitted to having no idea who the actress was.

Watson also launched an eco-friendly collection with Italian designer Alberta Ferretti, a line called Pure Threads by Emma Watson.

Emma Watson goes for androgynous chic in blazer and shorts on Lancôme shoot in Paris... but she can't hide her healthy curves

By Simon Cable and Georgina Littlejohn

Androgynous chic: Emma Watson looked stunning in a pair of white lace shorts, shirt, tie, blazer and bowler hat as she shot the new Lancome advert in Paris

She certainly doesn’t conform to the stereotype of the emaciated catwalk model.

Indeed, Emma Watson appears to have much more in common with the curvier actresses who have preceded her in her latest modelling campaign.

The 20-year-old Harry Potter star, who has been signed up as the face of cosmetics company Lancome, was seen filming scenes for a new advert in Paris.

Leggy lady: Emma showed off her healthy curves in the advert as she shot with Mario Testino

And her healthy figure echoes that of the screen stars including Kate Winslet, Penelope Cruz and Isabella Rossellini, all of whom have fronted advertising campaigns for the French beauty brand in the past.

Watson slipped into a pair of white lace shorts, peach blazer, tie and bowler hat with nude court shoes for the upcoming campaign, which is being shot by photographer Mario Testino.

It is unclear whether the campaign was for the brand’s make-up or perfume, but with a huge legion of fans it is bound to fly off the shelves when released.

The night before, Watson was seen wearing a strapless peach chiffon dress, which she teamed with a black biker jacket and towering peep-toed shoe boots on the shoot.

Her short hair was slicked back as she strolled through the romantically-lit streets.

Emma, who has previously fronted campaigns for Burberry, has been leaving cryptic clues for her fans that she had been signed by Lancôme on her Twitter page all week.

Last Friday she first tweeted: 'A new venture is starting - what can it be? Follow my clues and you will see...'

On my cue: Emma looked a bit cold in her pretty strapless chiffon dress as she waited to be directed, before she skipped off down the street

This was followed with: 'I'll pierce your skin if you hold me wrong but I'll love you forever if you pass me on,' which referred to Lancôme's logo - a rose.

Watson, who is most famous for her role as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter films, has worked with Testino, 56, before on fashion shoots for Burberry and Vogue.

Last week the star announced that she was postponing her studies at Brown University in the U.S. to re-focus on her career.

The actress was less than two years into a degree in women’s history and drama at the prestigious Rhode Island university. However, she told fans that juggling the two had become ‘a little impossible’.

She was regularly forced to fly back and forth between London and the U.S. while the final two Harry Potter films were being made as well as undertaking regular fashion shoots in the UK.

She is also currently shooting her upcoming film, My Week With Marilyn, in London alongside Kenneth Branagh and is also about to begin a heavy promotion schedule for the final Harry Potter film, The Deathly Hallows, part two, which is released this summer.

Emma Watson announces she is taking time off from university to focus on acting and fashion

By ANDREA MAGRATH

Skipping class: Emma Watson, pictured arriving at Heathrow last week, has announced she is taking time off from Brown university

She became a household name playing extraordinarily intelligent bookworm Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter franchise.

But Emma Watson has made a decision that her alter ego would certainly not approve of - she is postponing her studies at Brown university to focus on her career.

The 20-year-old star made the announcement on her website today, telling fans that juggling the two has become 'a little impossible'.

Too much to handle: Emma said in a statement on her website that juggling her classes at Brown, in Rhode Island, and other projects became 'a little impossible'

She wrote: 'I've decided to take a bit of time off to completely finish my work on Harry Potter (the last one comes out this summer) and to focus on my other professional and acting projects.

'I will still be working towards my degree... it’s just going to take me a semester or two longer than I thought.

'As you know, I love Brown and I love studying pretty much more than anything but recently I've had so much to juggle that being a student AND fulfilling my other commitments has become a little impossible.'

Swapping classes for the cameras: The 20-year-old will be busy promoting the final Harry Potter film over the summer

Emma jetted back into Heathrow from the U.S. last week, and was also in London throughout the BAFTA party season last month.

Brown university is currently in the middle of their semester, which runs from January 26 to May 29, with a spring recess later this month.

Emma's London spokesperson declined to elaborate on whether the actress has already pulled out of classes or if the break will commence after this semester wraps up.
However judging by her current jetsetting, the former is more likely.

Fashion career: Emma recently released her most recent People Tree collection, and she just announced a collaboration with designer Alberta Ferretti

Emma is busy working on a number of fashion projects before she turns her attention to the Harry Potter promotion trail in the summer.

Last week she announced a new collaboration with designer Alberta Ferretti.

The line, called Pure Threads by Emma Watson Alberta Ferretti, is eco-friendly, like her People Tree collections.

The Italian designer revealed why she chose the gamine star to join forces with. 'She’s an actress I’ve followed since her early days,' she told Women's Wear Daily.

Studious: The actress became a household name playing bookworm Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter series

'I like her freshness, her spontaneity and simplicity.'

Miss Watson added: 'I believe this is a big step forward for all of the international fashion industry, but also an important step for an increased sensitivity to the problem of ecology.'
